Pumpkin Soup by Justine, Leatherhead

Ingredients:

• 2 lb pumpkin, skinned and cut up
• 6 tbl butter
• 2 tbl flour
• 2 tsp salt
• 2 tsp sugar
• 6 cup milk
• 1 cup water
• 1 x pepper to taste

In a large sausepan, add the pumpkin, sugar, butter, salt, pepper and water. Simmer for 20 minutes. Mash the pumpkin well and add the flour, mixing constantly. Add the milk and simmer for another 10 minutes.
