Coffee and Chocolate Brownies with white chocolate drizzle by Jo, Peterborough
Ingredients:
200g butter
200g dark chocolate
4 eggs
200g caster sugar
2tbsp strong black coffee
200g plain flour, sifted
100g white chocolate
100ml double cream

30 minPinch of salt Heat the oven to 180C/Gas 4. Line a 25cm x 20cm roasting tray with greaseproof paper. Set over a pot of simmering water, melt the chocolate and butter, stirring until smooth. Remove from the heat and half cool. In a bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until pale. Beat in the coffee and the half-cooled chocolate mixture. Fold in the sifted flour and salt. Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Heat the cream until hot, remove from the heat and add the white chocolate, stirring until smooth. Drizzle over the warm brownies and serve.
