Use and Care :
- Glass covers & steam baskets The clear lids and steam basket are made from a special high quality borosilicate glass and can be used in the freezer, in the oven and in the microwave, but not on a direct heat source such as grill or flame.
- Do not use them over a high temperature immediately after removing them from the freezer.
- Do not put them under cold water if they are still hot.
- Pyroflam® : Helpful Hints When cooking pre-heat your Pyroflam® product for two minutes before use, then use medium to low heat for cooking to ensure even cooking without burning.
- Pyroflam® retains heat so you can let your meals simmer slowly at medium or low heat and even remove the pot from the hob prior to finishing the cooking process. Pyroflam® is best for water based recipes.
- Pyroflam® Care Before use gently clean your product in warm soapy water.
- After use leave to soak in hot soapy water before cleaning.
- Do not use abrasive scouring pads or powders.

- Pyroflam® is guaranteed in everyday household use to keep its shape (between -40°C and +800°C) and to tolerate fluctuations in temperature (up to 450°C) for 25 years from date of purchase.
- Transparent parts in borosilicate glass are guaranteed for 10 years assuming usual everyday household use (between -40°C and +300°C and with strong fluctuation in temperature up to 220°C).

The only difference between the products are the tint, due to different temperature curves in the manufacturing furnace, and the material of casserole lids (borosilicate glass for transparent lids, soda lime glass for amber lid.
