The glass lids available on the casseroles and on the chicken roaster are made of high quality heat proof borosilicate glass.

It should not be used on top of stove or under grills.
All the Pyrex Classic ceramic products are dishwasher safe.
What temperature can Pyrex Classic ceramic withstand?
Pyrex ceramic ovenware can be used up to 250°C, which is the high range of what most ovens can do. It also offers a thermal shock resistance hot-cold of 200°C.
Why does Pyrex ceramic ovenware offer superior resistance?
After shaping and glazing, our products are fired in a kiln at around 1200°C for several hours. They are almost totally vitrified, which gives them a water absorbtion level close to 2% and a very good mechanical resistance. The glaze also protects the products from scratches and from stains.
All the Pyrex ceramic items are guaranteed for 2 years.
