Perfect Pork Layer by Lynne, Preston

Ingredients:

• 2 lb port steack
• 3 lb onions
• 2 lb lean smokey bacon
• 2 lb pork sausage
• Salt & pepper
• Half a pint of water

Chopped and dice the onions and place to one side.

place the pork steack at the bottom of your dish completely touching and covering the whole of the bottom.
Season with a little salt and pepper. Place a layer of onions on top of the pork steack. Arrange the sausage on top of the onions and salf and pepper.
Finally layer all of the bacon on the top. Put in the water and cover.

Place in oven on gas 5 elec 190 and cook until pork is tender. If there is too much liquide in the dish at this time drain some off and save at one side for later.

When the pork is cooked place the cheese (chopped) over the whole of the top and cook (uncovered) until the cheese has melted and gone a little golden. remove from oven and leave to go cold.

When you are ready to eat, cut into large squares and press the layers to one side on a plate and reheat in oven until warmed through thouroughly and the edges of the liquide have gone crisp. Before reheating the liquide will have gone to jelly, if there is not enough place more from
