Microwave roast pork with onions

Ingredients:

• 3lb 5oz (1.5kg) pork joint
• 10½oz (300g) frozen or fresh chopped onions
• 1 bulb of garlic
• 34 fl oz (1 litre) of full-fat milk
• 1 tablespoon of Maïzena cornflour
• salt and pepper.

Preparation Time:

20 min

Cooking Time:

25 min

Method:

You’ll need a deep microwave safe dish for this recipe.
Place your joint, chopped onions, milk and garlic in the dish.
Cover the dish with a lid or cling film. Place in the microwave oven on the highest setting for around ten minutes.
Remove the dish, take off the cling film and put back in the microwave for another ten minutes.
Remove the pork and check that it is ready. It must be cooked. If the meat is still slightly pink, simply cook the pork for a few more minutes!
Mix the meat juices with the cornflour and pour into a saucepan to thicken the sauce. Mix and pour into a sauceboat and serve warm with the roast pork.
