Garlic Mushrooms
Ingredients:
4 large grilling mushrooms
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 slices old white bread, crumbled
½ bunch parsley, chopped
½ lemon, juiced
50g butter
Preparation Time:
20 minMethod:
1. Preheat oven to 180ºC
2. Place the mushrooms into a Pyrex baking tray, drizzle with olive oil and bake in the oven for 5 minutes.
3. Put 50g softened butter into a Pyrex bowl, beat in crushed garlic.
4. Add the lemon juice, mixing well.
5. Mix the breadcrumbs and chopped parsley, then fold into butter mixture.
6. Divide the breadcrumb butter mixture between the four mushrooms, spreading evenly over the mushrooms.
7. Place under hot grill for 5 - 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
