Easy Pork Dhansak (Indian) by Sharon, Grimsby

Ingredients:

• 1 lb diced pork
• 4 oz dried red lentils (soaked for 1 hr)
• 1 chopped onion
• 2 crushed garlic cloves
• 3 fl oz oil
• 2 tbs ground coriander
• 1 tsp garum masala
• 1 tspground ground cardamom
• 1 tp salt
• 2 tsp sugar
• 14 oz can chopped tomatoes with juice
• 150 ml water

Preparation Time:

10 min

Cooking Time:

30 min

Arrange the meat in a pyrex casserole dish.
Mix all the remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour over the meat.
Cover and bake for 1 1/2 hrs stirring once during the cooking time.
Stir once more before serving with rice.
